In his youth he played for 3 clubs, starting from Andorinha in 1992-1995, he then moved to Nacional from 1995-to 1997 and then went to Sporting CP from 1997-to 2002. He started his professional at Sporting and stayed for a further year until 2003, he was then signed by Manchester United in 2003 at only 18 years old for £13 Million.
He stayed at Manchester United for 6 years, scoring 84 goals in 196 appearances, until 2009 when he was signed by Real Madrid for a staggering £80 Million, after staying at Real Madrid for 9 years and scoring 311 goals in only 290 appearances he was signed by Italian team Juventus for 112 million euros (£99.2m), on a promising 4 years, after only just 3 years at Juventus scoring 81 goals in 98 appearances he was re-signed by Manchester United for only 12.86 Million, he is currently at Manchester United with speculations of a possible move in the summer.

Cristiano originally went to a school in Madeira until he was 11 years old in which he moved to sporting and went to a school there, at the age of 14 he was expelled from school after throwing a chair at a teacher, after the teacher made fun of his strong Madeira accent, and told him his dream of being a professional footballer would never come true.

When he was expelled himself and his mother both decided to quit his education and fully focus on football in which he signed a semi-professional contract with sporting at only 14 years old

Childhood life

Ronaldo was born in February 1985, he grew up in a largely working-class neighbourhood in a small tin-roofed house that overlooked the ocean, in which he had to share a room with his 3 siblings. Ronaldo was introduced to football by his dad who was working as an equipment manager at the club
